September 1833, died in Herrick, Illinois on 11 April 1908, age 74, 6 Mo,24
days. She was married to Wright McClanahan 3 January 1850. They had 11Children
(6 sons and 5 daughters).

date of death along with her age at death her birth date is calculated as
being: 3 March 1823.

Telitha and Benedick were cousins and wanted to get married when Telithawas
only 14 years old. Her mother told her she couldn't marry until herlittle
sister was old enough to do the wash; then her sister ran off and gotmarried.
Everybody else had kids soon after marriage, and Telitha said she thoughtshe'd
never have a baby, and then when she did start having them, she thoughtshe'd
never quit. Telitha was blind most of her life. At one time she went toSt.
Louis to have her eyes operated on. Telitha had kids she never saw. Her
daughter also went blind, as well as her granddaughter andgreat-granddaughter.
Her grandson, "Vernie" Chandler, said she would pinch kids when they
misbehaved.
